Hi everyone =)

It's late now, I know! I'm sorry if I sound incoherent, I'm actually quite sleepy now, and my eyes feel er, swollen. But I just feel like blogging. Since my own blog is smelly and dead, here's the place. =D

I've been thinking about our match and what it is teaching us alot nowadays. I hope you won't mind reading my thoughts.

So the story goes.

On Monday, fateful Monday 22/1/07, we represented the school in our first official match ever, against Pioneer Sec. As news must have gotten around now, we lost. And badly in fact. The score?

1 - 52.

We were the team with one goal in only.

Netballers..I'm sure we all have been hearing all forms of pep talks nowadays... we didn't play the best we could, we weren't ourselves, we still have a long way to go, we're going for this competition to gain exposure, not to win...

But you know what, instead of continuously questioning ourselves on why we lost with such a huge margin.. losing is also good you know! It's the only time you're humble enough to learn with all your heart. It pushes us to go further next time!

Don't blame yourselves solely for how things turned out! No one in the team wanted it to be this way too. Netball is a team game, so if we lose any match, we lose it together. UNITY in losing! Heehee sounds really dumb, but I'm sure in the near future we can proudly shout "unity in winning" too! But seriously, to me, it really doesn't matter anymore if we win or lose anymore, as long as we stick together like GLUE! Cos I think that's what netball is really about. =)

I think this first match has really opened our eyes. Don't feel upset over the score, don't be pressurized over it too, we'll just take the next match on Monday (29/1) in our stride and as Elaine said, JUST BE YOURSELF! I'm sure we'll do fine. =)

LOVE YOU ALL NETBALLERS! I especially love today's "training". Hahaha. We're a great team, I tell ya. A great team. =)

Goodnight! Rest well! =)
